ABOUT ME

I fell in love with the pet industry in 2008 when I became a Pet Hotel manager and learned dog behavior/language by being hands on with a dog trainer. In 2011 I became a certified groomer, and found my true passion and skill. I was lucky enough to learn from 7 incredible groomers, each with 10+ years experience, and have continued my education and growth over the decade.

My dog, Bubby, is not only my mascot but my absolute world. He has already given me 9 amazing years of being my best friend, hiking buddy, and of course my favorite client!

I take pride in paying special attention to detail in order to get each haircut symmetrical and beautiful according to each unique pet's needs and parent's vision. What sets me apart is my translation of that vision by bridging the gap between confusing groomer lingo and parent's expectations. Even more importantly, I communicate possible health concerns like ear infections, skin issues, new lumps, severe stress, and general behavior each visit.

In order to make the dog as comfortable and happy as possible for the grooming process, it's the little extras that make a huge difference: cotton balls in their ears for the bath, making ear muffs out of a towel wrap to protect from the loud dryer, and using the most humane techniques of de-matting those tough tangles. Letting my knowledge and expertise lead every decision will allow each pet the best experience possible.

Having groomed over 13,000 dogs in the last decade, I have become very experienced with all breeds, behaviors, special needs for senior pets, and the extra, extra special love needed for puppies. Each dog is unique, and I love the challenge of getting to show my techniques to a new client. Your dog will benefit from the regular routine of being groomed by the same person each time on a consistent basis. A special bond between dog and groomer is built over time, and they will just keep improving. I have serviced many of my clients for 5-10 years and they have become more like family. I can't wait to grow that foundation and meet your favorite furry family member!
